To the OP, you dont want that grapple with a 9540...way too light. It has 3/8" steel. You want something with 1/2" steel and dual lids. I have a 78" Tomahawk. Best bang for the buck. Greasable hinges, 1/2"steel, very well built. I paid $1250 in Pa.

Take a hard look at the Massey Ferguson 4707. I looked at the 4.75, the Case 75c, and the Massey Ferguson 4707 is a far superior machine. I love mine.

Hey Daugen, My dealer said that the 4707 is supposed to be spec'd with the 30 in Trellborg tires, not the 34" because its the lowest hp in the lineup.mine has the 30".

The new JD 5R series are sweet. They start at $85k and go to $115k. I love my Massy for $45k. As for a camera system, I have about $180 in mine with 2 cameras and a Ram mounting system. Very happy with it.

Its really just the spacing between the teeth. They both have similar grapples and are available with single or dual grapple lids.

A grapple doesn't have to be as wide as tractor if you wont be using it heavily. Width gives you a little more stability handling the brush/logs, but it's not like a mower that you need to cover your tracks. My machine is 82"wide, my grapple is 78" ...works just fine

I have a new 4707. It does not have a DPF. It has only a DOC which is like a catalytic converter...no regen. Excellent tractor! Super happy with it. The only difference between it and the larger 4708-4710 is DEF fluid.

The Woods 8.30 is a light to medium duty cutter for pastures. If that's all you cut, it's a great mower. It has a sloped and smooth deck do grass doesn't pile up and water runs off easily. The 8.50 is the heavier duty model. The Titan is not a smooth deck, so debris will pile up, but the mower...

You should give a hard look at the new Massey Ferguson 4700 series. Top notch. Affordable. Weigh close to 10k with a loader. Cab is second to none. No DPF.

I had a 2008 M5040 for 10 years. I put 450 hrs on it. Not one issue, not one time to dealer. Make sure the hydraulic fluid and filter have been changed. You will be happy with it.
