Solid Tractor, If Not in Mud or on Hills!
Model Year: 1974
Like the review says, this is a solid tractor. They really don't make them like this anymore. The positive is that it is bare bones, no bells and whistles so less to go wrong with it. The downside is that it could really use 4WD. Maneuverability sucks because this is so long. I used it to put in a house, septic system, and road. I also skid trees with it. Due to it being so heavy, I have had it stuck in the mud all the time due to it's low clearance. The backhoe can drag you out but there is not much work getting done. It would be unstoppable if it came in 4wd, like later models offered, but only useful in the dead of summer in southern Ohio with a lot of clay, hills, and water. If you work on flat terrain this will do well for you.
Pros: Built well, strong, easy to work on (in most cases), good value.
Cons: Too heavy and long for it's own good, needs 4WD desparately.
