    You likely reversed and forced the rear of the Bush Hog Upwards which bent the arm. It could also be that the missing bolt was a problem Replace the missing bolt and put lock-tite on other fasteners. You should be able to figure that out. Straighten it and carry on.

    The Gearbox mount area itself is still flat, that's important. Try using a sledge hammer with a block of wood on the deck to straighten the high side on the underside. Heat the entire area may possibly shrink it. Don't use water to cool it.

    I believe the machine you are looking for or should be is called a GRADALL. Usually mounted on a tandem 6x6 truckframe. It has wrist action for the bucket. I don't know if they are still made. It is the ultimate ditching machine unless you go the Euro route with a big flailing wheel.

    Both ends of the Negative (Ground) cable are equally important. REMOVE both ends and provide a bright metal to metal contact. Grease them if you wish After tightening. Visually inspect ALL wiring - lighting included. You may have a severe short circuit to kill the battery that quickly.

    I would ONLY use Wheel Bearing Grease. It is fibrous and stays put longer I believe. I carry a complete Hub with lubricated bearings with me and mount the spare to it on a spindle welded to trailer frame. One Nut for tire/wheel/hub change.

    After using Penetrating oil for a couple days, Get the nut as hot as possible then drench with cold water. That often busts loose the corrosion interface. You could also use a Nut splitter or simply hacksaw down the centre of the bolt and through the nut.

    Remove mower deck and get it sandblasted on both sides so you can check for other cracks in that area.. Ask a neighbouring farmer who does his weld repair work. Looks like some 1" x 1/8"t angle iron would fix it. Drill a 1/8" hole at each end of all cracks.

    I suggest you replace the Radiator Pressure cap. Pressure in the system prevents coolant from boiling at 1 degree per 1 PSI. 10 lb pressure cap will allow coolant to go to 222° without boiling. Always use a correct thermostat.
