Lawn Ranger is possibly a franchise type lawn business.. I knew a guy in the Richmond VA area that had a business by that name..

My suggestion would be to give them a fictious name and ask for cash.... because if they want an invoice you will probably end up with a 1099 (IRS misc income) statement at the end of the year if they pay you over either something like $200 or $400 per year.. and who wants to pay uncle sam unless you are writing off the business expenses as well..

Good point, thatguy. Of course, I'm guessing Mith would have to pay the Queen instead of Uncle Sam...not sure if that makes more or less allowance for the non-taxed break point.

As the British isles are known as good sheep grazing land, and as sheep are known as pretty good mowing machines it seems your mowing service might actually be competing with some local shepards?

How about: "I mow, not ewe" as your business name?
