Helpful neighbor!

Maybe a trail/game camera or two would be a wise investment on your part. It will help you keep an eye out when you can't. Plus might free up some of your time, you would not have to get camera every time she comes over. I will say that a neighbor of mine has some cameras around his house. He did not want to be questioned weather or not he was filming people so he did like the retail stores. He had signs made that say "smile you are on camera". This way everybody knows and can't sue him saying they did not know he was filming them. Just a thought.

There's no dispute with the line. She even replaced the fence. If you're not supposed to call LE for trespassers, then who?

This isn't a property line dispute! It's trespassing! Sheesh.

My wife says she is so lonely, this is one way to get attention. Kind of like a small kid. Bad attention is still attention.

KOMO News 4 has a problem solvers section. I called and left a message yesterday. This morning I filled out their form on their website, and submitted it. We'll see if they contact me.

seems to be not your problem anymore .... remember you were told it was between the DA and her now ?

Call the DA office, let them know she is at it again and she is ignoring their warnings ... should help them next time when she shows up in court...a few pictures to verify would be nice , and a have them call the local LE office to make sure they go out next time you call and document it ... pretty sure you will get some LE action on the next "visit" ....

the DA will want to reaffirm their stance on this situation , and they won't stand for any foolishness on her part ... let them do their job ...

The Sheriff's office is mailing us the report from the first Sheriff that came out last Sunday. He knew more about the neighbor than I ever dreamed about. He told me one story after the other of things she has pulled on the people living in the housing development to the south of her. The Sheriff that came out yesterday wanted the prosecutor's name. He said he was going to walk his report over to the prosecutor's office, and hand it to the prosecutor. When we get the first Sheriff's report, we will write a letter to the prosecutor and the wife will hand deliver the report and letter to the prosecutor's office.
Maybe, just maybe they will put the donut down and do something!

The strange part of all this. At one of the court dates, a prosecutor told me there was a no contact order against the neighbor. They said if she comes on our property to call the Sheriff, they will come out and arrest her, and she will be convicted on the spot. Last Sunday the first thing out of the Sheriff's mouth was, "don't you have a no contact order against her". I replied we did at one time. He said "I know I read it somewhere", but he could not find it on his computer!:confused3:

I put up no trespassing signs where people were coming on my property the put a game camera so that it would get their picture with the signs.

I took the pictures to the Sheriff & they issued a warrant & arrested the guy. He was riding a chopper in my fields. There is thread here on TBN about what all went on.

Older JOKE:

Guy calls the cops and said there are people breaking into my shed.
Cops said there is no one available to respond to a simple shed break in.

Guy calls back & said they are taking things out of my shed they are robing me.
Cops say we have no one available for a simple robbery.

Guy calls back a few min later and said dont bother sending anyone out I shot them & hangs up the phone

within moments half dozen cop cars race in from all over, helicopters are flying over with search lights and K9 units running around. Cop grab the guys in the shed and go up to the home owner, & said I thought you said you shot them? Home owner said Ya well I thought you all said ya had no one available...

Just found this thread and read it in its entirety with my morning coffee. Wow - just wow. You are a very patient person Shield Arc to put up with this stuff for years now. My thoughts are with you for a resolution soon. Thanks for posting this and sharing it with us.

Reminds me of when we first bought our home some 20 years ago - house and barn on 5 acres along a beautiful river. 1 month after we bought it which totally strained us financially, a one acre plot bordering our north side came up for sale. When we bought the place one of the best assets were not having any neighbors. But if someone bought that 1 acre plot and built on it, we would be able to see it from our house. We knew we had to buy that piece but were broke. We actually refinanced our house after having the mortgage for only 2 months to get the money to buy it.

After reading this thread, it makes me know we did the right thing! Just the possibility of anything like what is happening to Shield Arc makes me shiver.

Sounds like something you should have a hard copy of and keep it close at hand.

I would be at the DA Monday, Wheels of justice may turn slow, but this has to stop. If he is an elected official as the Sheriff, then he also may be interested in a possible news story. She may be open to a "retaliation" charge as well, if your state has one. I would almost bet she is open to a civil suit by now.

True story...

Some neighbors down the road were having problems with another drunk neighbor.. Lotta yelling and whatnot. One of the drunks even threatened a kid riding by on his bike and ripped his shirt off. This goes on for over an hour. No Sheriffs this whole time even though they were called multiple times. Finally, one of the neighbors calls and says he sees a bat in one of the drunks hands.. BOOM. 4 cars there in less than a minute.
