Hand delivered a letter to the prosecutor's office this morning. Came home and went on the state court date search site. Looks like the prosecutors are on top of it already!
The neighbor lady has a court date for Wednesday February 4. At 10:30 A.M. In room 105.:cool2::cool2:

I can guess where you'll be Feb 4 ......
bring a copy of the original judge's order and penalties.... and have a quiet chat with the NEW person ... filling them in on the saga and the neighbor's tactics ...
there will be the expected delays as she comes up with excuses ( or no lawyer to represent her ) ... make sure the prosecutor has her remanded in custody until she retains legal council.

That's good, hopefully February 4th ends this long saga for you. Of course once it's over you'll need a new hobby to use up all the free time you'll have.

On the way to the court house, I stopped by the post office. Had a certified letter from the neighbor lady's attorney. Inside the letter was a money order for $25.00. Cost $6.49 for a certified letter!:shocked:
The state revoked the pretrial diversion agreement. New court date May 6th at 10:30.
I always set behind the deputy prosecutor's desk so I can hear what is being said. Her attorney told the prosecutor that his client just started paying restitution, in the amount of $25.00. He said she had been paying off the court cost. The prosecutor told him she needs to pay restitution first, then court cost.
So now we wait until May 6th to see what happens then.

Got to love our judicial system. My brother won a suit in 1985. Still not fully paid. Company goes to court every year saying they cannot afford the settlement. Court gives them more time. My brother will be 110 before it is paid.
