(psst ... trying to draw out 'torches & pitchforks' rants for SA's entertainment. :D Shhhh ... )

Yep.. and dont go more than 8-10 miles 'cause anymore than that and all your body parts go numb..
I had a 2005 Sportster (rubber mount) and the vibrations at idle were crazy, but honestly it wasn't bad at speed. Cruising range of 110 miles was a joke.

The biggest problem with cruisers in general and HD's in particular IMHO is the wide engine cases which yields minimal cornering clearance: that's at stock height and a lot of these dudes lower them?. And the high bars and feet forward riding position is brutal on the arms on the highway and the back on rough roads.

That's why Brando rode a Triumph.....

IMO SA has way too much class to be an a__hat back to the old gal. If our prayers would be heard, could our snips and snipes not also add insult to injury if heard? Yeah, 'she started it' (ripped down new fence, replaced well into SA's patch with her own 'junk') and she's since been signed up to pay for her trespass. (I'm guessing she gets a check monthly ...)

Peace of mind comes from rising above insults and injury, and from being patient when immediate satisfaction just won't be there.

I'd put vengeance aside and send her a sincere Christmas card while waiting for her to catch up with the court's decision. (Can't get blood out of a turnip, and 'Guys' get over stuff.)

I'll stand behind SA and hope when others face similar situations they'll forgo all-out war as many of us have intimated  and remember how our guy held his head up high despite what he's been dealt. Full forgiveness is up to the OP ... and after all has been said and done, if ever.

btw, Merry Christmas to all, and esp to any of you (us) who think it's just a December thing. :)

This is how I've been able to deal with my ex-wife.

Oh Yeah... when I ran into SA at Tractor Seabee's garage sale, I forgot to ask! What you say S.A.?

Unless she has been making payments, doubtful, she has until mid May to pay if my memory serves me correctly.

I rather doubt that she has made any payments or, if she has they have been the minimum she has been forced to do.

She will drag this out, especially since she has repeatedly lost her case in the court system, as a (in her alleged mind) revenge strategy.

I won my adverse possession case by default judgement. 70 acres worth.

This just proves why I want to buy 50+ acres where I don't have a neighbor for half a mile or more, and build on that. wow. And I thought our neighbors coming to us about an allergy to chicken feathers after we've had chickens for 4 years was bad.

Trust me 50+ acres ain't nearly enough.

No matter how large your property, neighbors are still right up against your property line :(

How much is the total judgement for?
The bid to replace the fence was $3,500.00. But the court says she has to pay $3,306.66:confused:. Now that bid was 3 1/2-years ago. What are the chances the replacement fence will be higher now?

This whole thing really frosts my cupcakes. Can't someone do something to attach this woman's property or something to seize an asset and sell it for money owed?

I'm not sure taking her property is the thing to do but reassessing the cost of replacing the fence after 3 1/2 years might be fair.

My thought is at least 50-100 acres so I can't see their house (so my animals can run/fly around the house without drama) and sections bordering on stateland. I know people hunting/hiking could still trespass if I don't mark it well, or even if I do.... However they shouldn't be building anything on it. Or maybe find some land in the middle of a couple of large farms or other large landowners. Ideally some natural borders like mountains, cliffs or a river in edition to any solid fence we put up.
