Pre-production test vehicles of all makes get crushedcrushed Teslas from where? The fires?
GM did have a lottery system for their pre-production test vehicles. They ran 50 of each model and trim down the assembly line to train their people. Government agencies can get them, the only restriction is there is no title and they cannot be registered for the street. The Texas prison system uses them on the prison farms as they never go on a public road. We would occasionally win some at the FD from the Arlington GM plant. We would use them for extrication training, use the spreader tools on the doors, pull the steering wheel thru the dash, etc. It was great to train on new vehicles instead of wrecked ones from the junkyard.Pre-production test vehicles of all makes get crushed
No, the photo at the gate is from Sacramento - 400 miles north of the fires.crushed Teslas from where? The fires?
the cyber trucks have standard disk brakes ??
Got a laugh at some of the comments at that link. Not a lot of love for the CT out there...
They don’t look like finished vehicles. My guess was also factory prototypes or test vehicles, like Ning said. Could also be recalls, but guessing the former.crushed Teslas from where? The fires?
I assume you are talking about regen braking? You still need normal brakes as a backup in case the batteries are full, can't charge or have some other issues.the cyber trucks do not have standard disk brakes ??
Also for final stop, even if batteries are empty.I assume you are talking about regen braking? You still need normal brakes as a backup in case the batteries are full, can't charge or have some other issues.
Reminds me of when a friend had put a small (and dark) steering wheel in his RHD VW bug....and one guy only nodding his head in their direction as a greeting, because his other hand held a steering wheel. My brother said me, hold the steering wheel so i can wave with my right hand, i want to see their faces !
Like this:I'd hold the light colored original steering wheel and would look at everything but forward while we were going through city traffic. Freaked a lot of people out.
The photos great as long as they got it on your property.Around here it seems like few signatures required as the photo replaces that most of the time. Some things still do require a signature when the sender requires it. Also alcohol requires a signature.
Saw one running around town the other day.Got a laugh at some of the comments at that link. Not a lot of love for the CT out there...
