Yep same problem, twisted the cross tube. Shows that the hydraulics will untwist it. I would not reinforce the tube, that would cause the next weakest thing to bend and it would be harder to straighten. In the comments he said he didn't reinforce the tube and it is still straight.

Even that is not permanent. If an attachment comes off one side it will twist the welded cross tube. This is the OP's picture, the cross tube is definitely twisted as shown by the added red and black lines not being parallel:

That one has a hydraulic cylinder attached from the scissor lift to the bale spear: Like this one: The scissor lift has to attach to the tractor where the top link or hydraulic top link attaches. With longer hoses the hydraulic top link could be moved out like the pictures above.

A scissor lift will not work with a hydraulic top link.
