No, I’m saying it all went to s@#$ because he moved there and that was just one more thing that turned to s@#$ for the family. He is appalled by that and so was his wife. Best string trimmer string.

The Echo speed feed head is the best thing since sliced bread. I guess I’m bias too cause I think Echo trimmers are the best trimmers you can buy. I use Black Diamond .095 line and yes soaking old line in water really does work. I’ll probably get some heat from this but Stihl stuff ain’t all...

    Mowing JD X300 transmission problems

Just pulled the K46 tranny and changed the oil with 5-50 synthetic again. The fluid looked pretty clean and didn’t smell burnt. The magnet was clean too. My habit has been every 2 years to change the fluid. Which amounts to around 150 hours. The 2010 X300 has been reliable for the most part...

John Deere STX 30 lawn tractor

Wow, I had an STX 38 that I bought used for $200 and used it for 33 years. I gave it to a friend that fell on hard times and couldn’t afford to buy one. He is still mowing with it, lol. I then bought a new X300 that has been a real good mower thus far.

Battery maintainers work for me, plus I take my mower battery in the house in the winter and put a maintainer on it. Freezing cold weather will do them in too. I‘m on my 5th year with my mower battery. I think that’s pretty good.

    335 reverse safety switch

On my X300 that switch was located near the reverse pedal. All I did was move the switch away from the pedal so it did not get engaged and that solved that issue. Easy peasy. I also disabled the seat kill switch and the brake kill switch.

    Recommend A Pressure Washer?

I bought a Rigid brand gas pressure washer. It is a 3000 psi and has a two cylinder Subaru engine on it. Which I thought was odd, didn’t know Subaru made small engines. Quality made and has a brass CAT pump on it. I know what ever kind you buy it needs to have a brass CAT pump on it.

Yes, that is what I meant. I have an old Red Rider BB gun that you just cock once. You can almost see the BB leave the barrel. We used to have BB gun fights as a kid. Been hit bunches of times and it stung but that’s all.

Neighbors dog keeps coming over and defecating on our driveway.

BB gun is the answer, it won’t draw blood but just make them yelp and leave. If you do that a few times then the dogs realize “hey if I go over there it hurts”. It worked for me, I just popped their little butts with a BB and they took off. It only took twice for my problem to stop.

    The power of a tornado

Tornado ripped through Arkansas last Friday, the devastation was horrific. It is amazing the power of a tornado, I saw a 1/2 inch drive 18 inch breaker bar stuck half way in an oak tree. It ripped the Astro turf off a ball field and the turf has been found in other states. Hundreds of folks have...

Several decades back, I flew from Albq to Roswell on a small commuter called Mesa Airline that sat about 20, I think. There was no door on the cockpit, you could see and hear the pilots. 6013’s work well on thinner material, and need to run on DC straight polarity.
