    3 speed PTO with reverse!

So many of you may remember that I modified a vermeer trencher to use as a log skidder. It's a neat little tractor with a 6 way blade in front and a hydraulic winch on back. Low cost finish floor

I did a closet with 1/2" thick rough sawn spruce. I laid it green and when it shrunk up I grouted the whole thing. Put a couple coats of thinned spar urethane and it turned out looking pretty nice. Pardon the dog hair. I used great stuff subfloor adhesive and a framing nailer to lay it...

New Toy Vermeer V-430A mini skidder

It arrived on Saturday. Been doing little stuff like change oil, filters, fuel hose, etc.. Engine runs great and starts easily. Lots of moving parts and chains under the seat to grease and oil. Has an interesting creep mode which I assume was for running a trencher. Also has a PTO on back...

Hydraulic chainsaw off hydraulic winch feed?

I have a project that from my limited understanding of hydraulics is possible but I think I'd prefer an expert opinion to confirm that what I am attempting is going to work. I ran across a Stanley CS06 hydraulic chainsaw that I was interested in using with my tractor, 45 HP Bobcat. I believe I...

Smokin' deal on 10,000watt generator $649 (Today only)

My wife picked up a female plug cord end for me so I threw together an adapter with the plug that was included with the generator. Hooked it up to my little ESAB 161 and cranked it to 150 amps for 2 passes of 5/32 7018. Second rod I turned it to 160. Generator did just fine, never bogged down...

Anybody know to "seal" a dirt pond?

I have a pond sealing project going right now. We are needing to get about 23% for optimum moisture and achieve 95% compaction. We have had 6 inches of this compacted clay material under 55 psi for over 2 weeks with no seepage. This pond was only about out 3-4 ft deep so we have excavated...
