If you have gutters you need the guards otherwise the weight of the ice and snow will pull down the gutters. As far as installing them it depends on the roof panels and how much snow you get. You would probably be better off with a bar type system.

I would install snow guards or snow bars. The idea is to keep the ice and snow on the roof so it gradually melts.

The Chinese are most likely the people building the ECU for Deere.

After watching the video if that’s the unit you are looking at purchasing it does seem like something isn’t right with the hydraulics. Maybe the pump?

Mine did alright for what it was. I see them used by my electric/gas company quite often. Also you can google Dig-it towable backhoe and get information.

I had athe towable model of a dig-it and was pleased with the way it was set up and handy since it even had hydro wheel motors. I think it's priced on the high side but that's the way things are today but it wouldn't hurt to make a lower offer either.

I roofed for 47 years and always hand nailed and used hot dipped galvanized nails. You always know if you hit solid decking unlike the fellow that uses a gun.

steering box would be my first guess but I don't know what pressure you are to have. I'll see if I can find something but in the meantime you can look this over.

maybe steering orbital control is out also if your pump has a priority valve it or the Orings could be bad.

We have what used to be a weeping ornamental which turned out to be a cherry tree (10 years later) and had lots of cherries one or two years but now the frost gets the blooms

A gasser would be around 10,000 up and diesel a couple thousand more

I called the rental company that originally sold it to the fellow I purchased it from and they said they sold it because the back of the pump had a crack so the guy I got it from said he replaced the back part of the pump with a used one but could not get it working properly so I purchased it...

You can get a cheap hydraulic gauge

It test your pump pressure also sometimes even though the suction hose looks good it can suck air.

Maybe the key is sheared , try twisting the shaft a little while prying or tapping.

Do you have a pressure tester? You would need at least a 3000 psi gauge but I would get a 4000 psi and a few fittings with a section of hose.

If you purchase a tank get an ASTM and not a DOT tank

I got to thinking that maybe the second line from the pump to steering is pressure also and the load sense valve changes direction or am I confusing myself??

Thanks for the explanation and the manual is not very clear even the hydraulic schematic from the Kohler engine vs the Kubota looks to me that on the pump/ steering circuit the Kubota should be the same as the Kohler.

I really don't know why the 2 steering lines because my orbitrol has a return to tank and looks like return to suction if it didn't have the second line on the suction side I could install a relief valve in that port I am thinking.

yes, you got the idea. I cleaned mine with brake fluid and compressed air, the brake fluid dries quick.

changed filter so did you also clean the suction screen inside the tank?

Suction line is 1” so it can’t be swapped externally but the pump can be traded clockwise or counter clockwise. Now the 2 steering lines are the same size so it would be easier to install backwards.

I ordered the new pump and also a few fittings because the new pump has different size ports at 2 locations and also a new section of suction hose. should be here next week sometime. Also here is a pdf on the loader valve from Walvoil

I installed the new parts but the loader and hoe are still weak so I installed the gauge at the loader and only getting about 1200 psi, I'm thinking it's the rear wear plate that is not part of the kit and maybe not obtainable. I have sent out an email to Applied to get more info.

It came out as one piece but I can see inside it has what looks like a valve of some sort. I found the oring seal kit for it but also found a complete valve so new valve is on it's way.

The seal kit arrived but no O’rings for the diverted valve which are deteriorated.

The seal kit is to arrive tomorrow and hopefully it has the Orings for the load sense valve in it.

I drained the fluid and removed both strainers and installed new filters and replaced with new fluid. It drives back and forth great. The steering works great but loader and backhoe work but are weak.

That looks like it I'll order a seal kit and see if that helps my weak loader/hoe.

Anyone here with an Allmand 425 or 535 backhoe I'm looking for the Eaton number off the gear pump and maybe a picture or two. I'm thinking someone installed the wrong pump in mine.

I have the filter but need the donut where the hood meets the canister.

This may be a shot in the dark but I just purchased an Allmand 425 Kubota diesel and the gauge console doesn't seem to work do you remember where you purchased it.

I like it very well but by the time I paid import tax, storage and shipping I still paid $2000 but I did get the extra bits.

The 2720 doesn’t have glow plugs but an intake heater.

I'm using the Blue Iris program and purchase cameras from various places but mostly Amazon I have it at 2 locations and have 3 cameras at one and 9 cameras at another.

I would work it very hard for a while then see if it cleared up.

You would probably be better off just to use 2 by lumber and stakes to form it then pour.

I put a bag of concrete in each hole and tamped it a little with a small piece of plywood on the bottom of a 2x4 then set my post plumb and tamped them in good. I used a spud bar for that.

I sure wouldn't use the corrugated stuff but schedule 35 at the minimum. You can put a micromesh screen in your gutters to keep from clogging.

I've been installing gutter and drainage for over 40 years but in reality you only need a solid 4" and only on one side of the building.

I started out with my first tractor (John Deere 755) offered to me when I purchased a house and 5.5 acres then wanted to up the power and purchased a new John Deere 2720 but wanted more loader lift 10 years later and now have a John Deere 3046r.:)
