Tilt Angle

I have a L3400 HST and need to brush hog a lot of steep slopes; some greater than 30 degrees. I do have an angle meter but seat of the pants feel gets panicky for anything <flat
Can anyone tell me what the max tilt angle is please.

The L3400 is an '09 model and does not have rims that increase tread width by reversing. It does, however, have loaded R4 tires.

Agree completely. Two of our farms are in the hills with slopes from mild to We have used the following tractors Massey Ferguson 375 2WD, Massey Ferguson 375 4WD, Case 995 2WD, Case CX80 4WD, Ford NAA 2WD, Kubota L5030 HSTC, Kubota M8540 HDC plus our JD2305 and BX2200/2660. Some were very stable on hills and some scared me to death. We have never rolled one, but had a few very scary rides. There are places we could take one, but wouldn't even try with another.

Anytime we get a different tractor, we take it very easy until we determine the stability. There are times I will ride an area in my Rhino to check for drop offs, ruts, stumps etc. as even a seemingly slight dip can be a real eye opener.
