I am glad some of you can use your tractors for spring cleanup and other jobs.

For me, yesterday I drove all of my snowblowing areas with the blower not being used but just for using my rear studded tire chains to scarf up the ice so it's not as slick.

It seems spring is not here yet as we have a cold snow storm coming tonight and then again Friday and Saturday, with sunday morning low of minus 4 degrees F.

Any way That's what the weather man is saying...

Here are a few pictures below.

1st). My driveway is so slick the dog is having a hard time with slipping on the ice, the dark areas are where I threw out sand.

2nd). My new (first winter use) studded tractor tire chains.

3rd). My shoe chains I use for freezing rain, and also use at this time of the year for the ice on the driveway.

Same chains I have; they do work well for scarring up slick surfaces!

I have a 2010 GC2610. When new I bought the workshop books for this machine. Neither they, nor the operator's manual say anything about a plugged air filter warning light on the dash. When this un-explained light came on I checked with the dealer who had to check with the factory to determine what it was. After cleaning the air filter this morning, the light is now out. Time will tell if this is the end of it. FYI: This light is an icon of the crankcase with the outline of an arrow through it, pointing to the right. It is located immediately to the right of the oil pressure light. I will now go back to replacing the left side kingpin???? seal.

Yes, after I saw a picture of yours, I had to have a set.

They sure do grip the ice, but the concrete in my garage looks like a woodpecker went at it (just noticeable marks but no damage).

Oh, I've heard that MF has a few secret warning lights hidden in the dash.

If I'm brush hogging in the summer, I'll clean the air cleaner with the air hose and have noticed that it sure is dirty.

Small grading job, that hump was about 3’ on the low side, was expecting a stump, found a huge boulder. Homeowner smartly decided to make it part of the landscaping. EA box blade for the win.

I started out with a pine straw rake. I just recently got it from EA. the area under the pine tree was loaded with needles, and while raking them up, I notice it catching some stone and bringing it up. so then I started making passes back and forth the length if the driveway, basically leaving it how you seen it in after picture. I did make a couple if passes at the end with a blade, reversed, just to smooth everything out a bit. in all, probably 30-45 min.

Hey, hope everyone is adapting to our temporary and challenging new lifestyle throughout the USA.

We have been at home for a week now, feeling fine and doing jigsaw puzzles, cleaning, etc...

Today, we have to drive an hour and a half (one way) to pickup some needed groceries at the nearest Wal-Mart curbside delivery, so to eliminate our exposure at our local store.

Placed the order yesterday and they emailed us this morning about substituting a handful of items and also a handful of item they are now completely out of.

B.T.Y., Wal-Mart has a 2 item limit online for most items.

On a sunny note, I took a couple of pictures late yesterday afternoon, just about 4 hours from the "start of Spring 2020", and still waiting for the ice off from our driveway.

I might use the tractor tomorrow with the rear studded tire chains to scarf up the ice again...

We had almost no snow and though it was colder than normal on some days, not enough consecutive days. Gonna be bug heaven :-( Already used the back hoe to dig up a few yellow jacket nests before it got too warm. Now how to use the tractor to remove more bugs before we get overwhelmed :)

Did some land clearing on the back areas of my property. Ran into a fallen tree covered in "hairy" vines. Looks like poison ivy. Any ideas how to cut this up without getting covered. Moved over with the tractor, but its in the way of another area where I need to remove some brush. Using the Piranha toothbar, works really well. Use a Stihl brush cutter to clear out any stems that survive. Trying not to bare too much ground yet, we have Japanese StiltGrass here and it overwhelms any area I leaf clean for too long.

I installed a WR Long Diverter Valve on my GC1710TLB. They shipped it with a flat black plate so I had cut it down a bit, weld on a piece of L channel steel and, repaint it black. I bought a U bolt and installed it on the cross member of the loader. The handle on the joystick feels comfortable and ergonomic in my hand. I don't love all the 'noise' over the loader arm but it'll do for now.IMG_20200325_191203.jpgIMG_20200325_191211.jpgIMG_20200325_193722.jpgIMG_20200325_193728.jpgIMG_20200325_193742.jpgIMG_20200325_193803.jpg

When pressure washing my winter gear for hopefully the last storm and I find a gash in the blower drum. Maybe I'll need to start a new thread but I'm glad I find this at the end of the season and not at the beginning. Yes, I work my scut hard.
