Was able to work the dirt today....

The price was a surprise. The drive gears for both sides was 800 something range iirc. My better half tilled the two cultivated acres today in the pic posted earlier to ready the field for planting. She managed to till the whole thing without a hitch or a tire falling off:).

Was able to work the dirt today....

Thanks fellas(y) Nothing like the smell of fresh turned dirt There is always something to see around here... Sun rises and sun sets, tires falling off tractor axles, non-endangered grizzly bears in the tree farm. Not to mention occasional combat with skunks.

Was able to work the dirt today....

This 790 made it 15 years. I was careful but used the heck out of it being it was my only tractor... lucky I guess. Used full synthetic gear oil from the first change also, but the gears still lost teeth.

Was able to work the dirt today....

Going to plan spruce tree seedlings in this field Iman. This field has fairly good exposure so it is mostly workable. It does have a deep draw on the south that still has prolly a foot of snow, that will be a while yet oosik.

Was able to work the dirt today....

Was able to do some cultivating today. Weather was stellar, soil is getting workable on the flats but still pretty soft in the draws. The 790 was pulling threw everything like a hot knife threw butter just a little tire spin threw the mucky draws. Then something happened.... It was my bad, I...

    LS MT352 filter kit?

My local Napa was able to cross all filters except the engine oil with wix filters. The engine oil filter must have a manufacture 'hold' on specs. My LS has an LS engine... I'm not by the tractor to read the engine tag. I do not remember reading Mitsubishi anywhere on anything. The 300 model loader on my 790 has been 100% good. Depending on what your plans are, some of that debris is good for the seedings. Looks fairly clean all and all. Might want to look into burning regulations, restrictions, seasons and what not.
