Same here. 90% of my dumping is just to clear the bed of debris and mess. If I need to dump something, I'm using the tractor; it's bucket goes up and down, right at the height the load to be picked is; a lot less bending over.

In my L4330 Owner's Manual, it refers to Transmission oil when the tractor has the HST. When it's a geared tractor (like mine) it's referred to as Hydraulic Oil. Same fluid - SUDT.

Good idea on the U-Bolt! One thing that has been holding me up on fixing mine is that I really really don't want to drill through that 1/2" steel bar. The biggest fear is weakening it for FEL operation; the 2nd is that drilling sideways is a huge PITA.

I traced the problem to the engine stop solenoid relay. Removed it, bench tested it, tested ok, reinstalled it. Now I have power to the engine stop solenoid, unlike before. Don't know what happened to fix it, but it's working now.

A friend of mine got one a couple years ago for $5k: I wasn't impressed: It didn't have any more room for people and not much more for cargo than an UTV and it wouldn't go up hills that my RTV would. He sold it while later, probably due to making it road legal problems.

You sound like Andrew Camarata. One of his biggest pet peeves is electronic battery chargers that don't work to charge batteries.

Test drove the -900, a short run around the parking lot, goosed it a couple times nothing wild or extragavent. Then went inside and ordered a XG850. They have no idea when it will arrive. With my luck, it's probably stuck on that canalblock in Africa/Asia. :(

Test driving the XG850 isn't gonna happen, unless a member here has one. Of the four RTVs that came in late last week (1 XG and 3 -900), 3 of them are already gone, leaving one -900. I'm going into the dealership right now to test drive it.

How much more get up and go? My biggest concern with the XG is the CVT. It's payload and towing numbers plus the fact that the bed is the same size (15.2 cu ft) are huge pluses. Cost is a wash, so I could be talked into either one right now.
