    Forty Grand? For a Stove?

We would have cancelled the order long ago, but there was nothing else similar. We were close to settling for a regular electric stovetop instead of the induction, but by then the price increases meant we would be paying more for that than what we planned to pay for this induction model. That...

Road base / crusher run has too many fines. Mixing #56 or #57 with road base to fix

I use a mix with a lot of fines (411), and then top dress with a light coat of #8. That gives a good tight base that repels water and has the clean 8's on top. Best of both in my case.

A belly mower has the advantage since only the tractor's front tires are compressing the grass/weeds before the deck. A mower on the rear of the tractor has a tougher time pulling up the tall stalks after both the small front and larger wide rear tires pack everything down.

I like my PTB for all around uses, as several stated above. One of the reasons I chose the PTB was the beef it added to the existing cutting edge of my bucket. My bucket edge was getting abused and bent, so I straightened it a bit to get the new bar on there and it's held it's shape since then.

Is this what a tire plug looks like?

That's true. The small tires are also much thinner, so less surface area for a good seal too. I have a couple tires that I've had to add several plugs squeezed in next to the original after finding slow leaks later. They both eventually stopped, but on a really small thin tire like the OP's...

If this is similar to the Billy Goat blowers, I wouldn't be too concerned about having a plugged tire or a tube. Spraying 2,4-D - Sanity Check

You don't want to spray when there is no breeze, especially early in the morning. That's more likely to allow the mist to accumulate, drift in a dense ground hugging 'cloud', and do more damage. I think the minimum recommended wind is 3mph.
