There are no additional levers, only a control grip that gets installed on the existing controlling rear remote valve. The gray grip is installed on the factory control lever for the rear remote. You can see there are 2 buttons and a trigger switch for the controls of the 3 diverters. You hold...

JD 5055E; Draft control and PTO speed

I highly recommend that you read the 3pt hitch section of your owners manual. Should read the whole thing cover-cover IMO. The manual should describe in detail how to operate the features that your tractor has.

I did, just one of the things I do. The red tractor is my smaller tractor. Only one factory rear remote available. Added a triple diverter and now have 4 sets of rear remotes. 2 for the top & tilt set, 2 for blade or landscape rake angle and offset functions.

Because I can tilt my 3pt hitch with my hydraulic side link, I have not had any reason or need to tilt the rear blade using the rear blade adjuster. Having the hydraulic side link allows side tilt for every 3pt implement used. Having the hydraulic side tilt on the rear blade allows you to tilt...

When looking, keep in mind how far the blade offsets. They do not all offset the same amount. I would not consider anything under 1000lbs for your tractor. Box scraper vs. rear blade for this type of road work

One of the secrets of grading, get the correct size and as heavy as you can afford that the tractor can handle at full capacity 90% of the time in your conditions. My 2 cents, a LPGS (Land plane grading scraper) is by far the best road maintenance implement 99% of the time, it cut my...

    Hydraulic Top Link?

    Hydraulic Top Link?

Probably the #1 use for float that I can think of with a top link is for a brush hog. So having a top...

The side link has to be able to pivot front-back and left-right. If you connect directly to the lift arm, you have to use a clevis. Looking for rear blade for 1538

Putting the top link in the lowest hole will raise the implement end at least 6" when fully raised. The issue is that typically for grading, you want the implement to raise basically level and it will not do that with the top link in the lower holes.

    Rear Blade Adjustment Preferences

IMO, nothing under 700lbs. Do the lighter units work, sure or they would not be selling them for very long. But the heavier the better is basically the rule for anything that grades. Looking for rear blade for 1538

Your tractor will handle a 7' blade fine, if your rear tires are filled, just that much better. New L6060, what's wrong with my rear remote?

The valves are manually actuated with linkage, not cables. According to Kubota, all 3 rear remotes can be float featured valves for the rear remotes. So location in the valve stack of the single float valve (should) not be an issue. Some how, some where, someone messed up. Pretty simple. The...

I would say to fully extend and retract the cylinder a minimum of 10 times. DO NOT hold it in relief. I have seen where it takes more than 10 full cycles to get the cylinder full of oil, typically less than 5 times, but there are always those odd ones. Then check the dip stick for aeration...

Air Leak In Tilt Cylinder Hydraulics?

I do not believe that air is the issue, unless you have it in the whole system, thus the dipstick fluid check. When you adjust the cylinders, is it difficult to extend the rod slowly? Kioti 3510 SE (any compact Kioti) hydraulic hose question for TnT.

Size of the couplers has nothing to do with the size of the hose. It is no problem having 1/4" hose with 1/2" couplers. Also there are different types of hoses that bend easier. The 5085E and the 5100E tractors are roughly 1500lb heavier than the 5075E and smaller tractors in the MFWD machines. So are you considering 1500lbs to be negligible? That is more than a 25% increase in base tractor weight with a 33% increase in horse power.

Tractor Sizing  Most popular size tractor

This might be best answered by dealers, but anyone can put their 2 cents in. What do you feel is the most popular size tractor sold that we talk about here on TBN? 20hp, 30, 40hp, bigger? Scut, cut, utility. I have no idea, was just thinking about it. To me something that is 60" wide...

    R4944

I have been looking at an R4944 with loader for quite a while now and was wondering what any of you thought that they might go for. The dealer has had this thing for more than 18 months now and I have never even seen any body else look at it. Not to say that they don't, just never have seen...

    Grading  Road Grading

Well, while some of you are plowing snow, I graded our road that we share with 3 neighbors. I use the Road Boss Grader when the ground is a little damp so that the redistributed dirt packs better.;)

    7520 Owners

If any of you have made a belly pan- skid plate please post some pictures of it. I just did an oil change and realized that the bottom of the tractor has gotten pretty beat up. I guess that I have been a little harder on my little guy than I thought. My biggest concern is that the...

I wanted to get these filled in so...

Box Scraper  Gannon Rollover Box Blade Scraper

Thought that I would post some pics of my scraper so that they would be here for future references. I am not sure of all the sizes that are currently available, this one is an 81" cat 2, weighs in at about 1000lbs. Rollover scrapers work very good I believe, but everybody does not agree. They...
