Ok...a few other questions. What is the btu rating on the heaters. Who supplied the propane regulators. Are you sure the regulators are rated to setvice the btu rating of the heater. What sized pipe did you run. My understanding is never use less than 3/4” after regulator until reduction right before heating unit. Pipe acts as storage and surcharge for startup.
I had a generator years ago that was driving me bonkers trying to get it to work properly. Turned out the regulator was bbq rated at about 46,000 btu and the generator took 235,000 btu. I didn’t supply either unit, and homeowner kept saying..... it’s worked for years. Not sure why it ever worked.
I’m also used to seeing a higher pressure regulator at the tank then a lower pressure regulator on the furnace. That’s the way mine is set up. But my shop heater is a 125,000 btu monster. Not sure if that applies to smaller units.
I’m beginning to think that the long pipe run isn’t supplying enough fuel at low pressure to run unit. I even looked at my stove. It has a pressure regulator at stove in addition to the one at house. It’s my understanding this is how it’s supposed to be so the pressure can be increased in pipe, but not the device.
