    Top link off center?

My thought is if the location of the top link didn't matter, then there wouldn't be a need for an ASAE standard for 3PH geometry. I think I would find a way to keep it centered, even if it means re-engineering the lower links.

Oil & Filter change now or later?

Change the oil and let it sit all winter. My dad changed the oil in the Farmall C every 5 years or so and when I inherited it, the oil pan started leaking oil through the paint. Upon removing the pan and inspecting, I saw the bottom pitted from acid attack and had to install a used oil pan...

install Slipclutch for Countyline tiller. Weasler cat 4 slip clutch 6 spline bolt on at implement end.

You MUST remove both bolts! Slip the yoke on the tiller then reinstall the bolts making sure the groove in the male spline lines up with the bolt holes. You can drive a slim wedge (slotted screwdriver) in the slot to spread it if needed and you won't crack it. Slather the male and female...

Chain hooks on Bucket or just use pallet forks? (For misc chain hoisting)

I welded a 1/2" D-ring to the center of my pallet fork frame so my lift point is very close to the loader pivot pins for maximum lifting ability. I welded a 5/16-3/8 weld-on grab hook on each side of the backstop for load securement only...not for lifting.

Are calcium filled tires a horror show?

I'll throw some more confusion in the mix! My local off-road tire store sells a product called TL-90 and they assured me it was basically generic Rim Guard so I told them to go ahead and fill the old Farmall C rear tires with it after I bought some used rims in good condition. They were...

    Anyone like traffic circles-roundabouts?

Love roundabouts! The best one I ever saw was in Switzerland by the Zurich airport. It was under a huge clear span bridge that carried a 4 lane highway overhead. The on/off ramps of the highway were incorporated into the roundabout and it was smooth and seamless. Like the one on "The Bee Movie."

    Mini hay baler
