    Slow curl action

    Slow curl action

Early last year I installed the diverter valve sold by Rural King as a kit for my RK37 along with a grapple made by Homestead Implements. Yesterday I removed the grapple and installed a hay spear to move a couple round bales. After spearing the first bale I noticed that the boom lifts fine but...

Electrical Problems with a chinese loader

Wow, that's the longest sentence I've seen. To me it appears that the electromagnetic switch you are referring to is the starter solenoid. When you turn the key to start that supplies 12 volts to the starter solenoid. That in turn energizes the solenoid causing a magnetic force to pull the...

    Returning batteries for warranty claim

    RK 37 Steering cylinder

I agree with loggin that we need more info. Is there an issue with steering, a leak or what? As loggin did I looked at the parts breakdown from RK and it doesn't provide much info. I too would think that if it's a leak issue a hydraulic shop should be able to rebuild it.

Need a grapple for my tractor... help me spend some money. :)

I considered the MTL but went with the Homestead Implements about a couple years ago. Haven't looked at the web site recently but when I bought mine they offered free shipping and a 10% discount for veterans. I haven't found a flaw yet with mine.

    Ballast box opinions

Thanks for all the suggestions. Went to Lowes and looked at both the solid concrete blocks and gravel. Have kind of made up my mind to go with gravel. I plan on covering the lift pin threads with PVC end caps to protect them from the gravel being dumped in. Thanks again for all the responses.

    Ballast box opinions

George2615, not having tabs for the pins is what drew me to this make. I think this is much stronger than having a tab that the weld could break or an accident could break it off. The sides of the box where the pin holes are drilled is the thickness of the box plus there is a 4" strip of 3/16...

    Ballast box opinions

I finally decided to purchase a 3pt ballast box for my RK37. Won't start after recharging battery

You don't mention how old the battery is but if it's several years old then it's possible the battery was on it's last leg anyway and can't really reach a full charge. The battery voltage isn't near as important as the amps that the battery can supply. The amps are the force that turns the...

Great news......... Bayfarm, when my vehicles were of 50's and 60's vintage I saw a couple mechanical fuel pumps get a pinhole in the rubber diaphragm causing fuel to leak into the engine. mmranch, I'm not going to be much help on the hydraulic issue but this might help with the bearings. Way back in the late 70's I was stationed in Spain and I shipped a 1955 Chevy over. It so happened that a rear wheel bearing went out on it. The base auto service center said they could order...

    3510 fuel gage not working

Zilla24, if 3gunr is correct in that it's an analog gauge (one with a pointer) then it's possible that the gauge itself is defective and the pointer can't go all the way to full. If you find that the voltage varies when moving the float then I'd tend to suspect the gauge.

    3510 fuel gage not working

Zilla24, I'm surprised someone hasn't already chimed in here. Not sure if you have a digital or analog gauge but both should work about the same. If the gauge moves such as going to empty when shut down that kinda rules out the gauge being stuck. Most likely the sensor in the tank is bad...

LS SAYS A REGEN EVERY 2 HOURS IS NORMAL

JCoastie, the LS must be different than the RK. My RK37 has the indicator that when displayed I can push a regen button that then increases the rpm or the dealer said I can just manually kick it up with the throttle. Since yours is ECU controlled I guess that answers my question.

    electrical relays

This seems silly to me. You close the switch to energize the coil and closes the contact which then supplies voltage to the load. Why not just have the switch in place the the relay contact? Hmmmmm, I'm sure there must be a reason but it escapes me at this time.
