I always cut short it does not make any difference. The humidity has been so high and with all the rain it seems like the grass is always wet.

How easy are the bags to empty?

I would like a rfm but i'm not sure that would fix the grass clippings. It seems like they would just be spread out more but still there. I think that is why i have seen people mowing the yard twice with a zero turn to mulch up the clippings

I would have 50 trash bags if that was the case. Yes the yard looks better and you can walk through it without a half the yard stuck to your shoes. Last time i removed 550 cu. Ft of grass my hopper holds 22 cu. Ft, i had to empty it 25 times.

I can show you otherwize. If i move the grass clumps from the last mow the grass under it is yellow. This grass clippings is very thick not just a dusting.

That does not work from what i have read. You would have to do more than simply block off the discharge the deck itself needs inserts to work. Kubota makes no such thing. In your cause they were properly already installed.

How hard is it to fix a leak on one of the FEL arms? It does not leak all the time it depends on the position of the arms.

I think you are right. Once that shear bolt breaks it would come right off without that ring.

I got it back on, with that tool. I tried with two flat screw drivers but it's a tight spot. Using that tool and a flat blade it went on.

My mower is 60" on the B2650 I have had many gas lawn mowers and they usually die around 350+ hours on them. That is around 4 years of use for me. I've had kohler engines, briggs and stratton they usually start to smoke once they get hours on them and burn oil. I do normal maintenance on them...

I'm still looking at the moment i have 6 acres to mow and it takes around 4 hours using a B2650 and a rider mower longer if it needs to be raked so i spend 16 hours a month mowing for 6 months out of the year. The rider mower has a kohler engine and after 2 hours it's out of gas. (4 gallon tank)

Trying to figure out what a B7800 with 576 hours is worth. Bought in 2002 new been outside since paint is faded hood has a dent, needs new front tires as they are bald, a seat, has no brakes that work. Has a front loader that needs the hoses replaced.

I've been pulling up bushes with my B2650 using a chain. The chain can be a pain with it coming loose plus it's to big to fit into the tow hitch hole. I use chain hooks and they tend to come off. Would a strap do better? I'm sure you guys have lots of ideas.

Trying to check my radiator fluid level and i can't get the radiator cap off!! You turn it it releases but will not come off. I'm scared i could brake off the radiator top since it is only plastic. Should i just force it, usually they have two tabs that hold it on maybe they are bent in to much.

So I blew a fuse hooking up some external lights and bought a box of new fuses but they are larger. I'm guessing the B2650 uses mini blade.

Here's one of mine this one has 3 summers worth of grass cutting. I don't have a wheel grinder and i'm not sure how hard it would be to get them balanced. They are $15 each new and a cheap wheel grinder is around $50 so buying 3 blades would cover a wheel grinder plus a balance tool.

My book says to change the engine oil at 50, 200, 400 hours and so on. Messicks says 50, 100, 200, 300. Who is right?

Tractor will over heat if used for more than 15 min even if it's just idling. radiator is full and the radiator fan spins, screen is also clean. Any other ideas as to why it's over heating? Has around 300 hrs on it.

Yes linkage hooked up like the dealer had it with hydraulics all the way down. linkage hooked up like the manual says to do it. It's at it's longest length. Notice how high it lifts only the front of the mmm.

I got the nuts loose and turned them out some to make the link longer but now the front of the mower deck is off the ground and the hydraulics is all the way down so it's still not right and i can't turn the nuts any more to make the link any longer.

I always use my rops up alright as they where meant to be used but they always make annoying sounds on rough ground after a few hours i get tired of it. Has anyone found a way to make them quiet? Maybe some kind of rubber wedges. I do fold mine down when i put the tractor away.

I have a old Grass Sweeper that is made for smaller tractors. The hitch on the B2650 is to high for it can someone point me to a height adjustable hitch? Here is a pic of the sweeper it is a craftsman. Hitch might have to be length adjustable as well not sure if it will hit the tires.
