    Help with barn stalls

    I would set them 48" and tamp dense grade gravel around them. Not concrete... It will rot at ground level. My stall posts extend up to the loft beams. I'll try to find s pic of how I did them. Not real good pic Used split stall doors with latches and 3/4" conduit for bars.

    I do try to keep it lower than in the pic when using. The frame of the scoop is high but the bucket is low where 95% of the weight is. I keep it just high enough to keep from digging in while backing up. I would estimate bottom of scoop is about 3" off ground.

    Got the rest of 10" gravel spread & leveled for basement floor. Then took fel & ballast off to drive over auto connect deck. Mowed 3 ac Love the JD auto connect deck. On & off is a breeze. Not sure how heavy the 60"7 iron is, but it's easily stood up on end also to service.
