I've gone the used route to save money and always had to fix or replace parts on the tractors. While it's true "They don't make them like they used to" they still wear out. Whatever you decide, buy it from a dealer, not a box store. They will treat you better if you have problems down the road...

Larger means wider as well, which will distribute that weight over a greater area. Besides if weight becomes an issue, I have a couple of 100lb. wheel weights that will fix that problem.

Hello all, I need a part for my Frontier snowblower SB1174. I's a grommet for the manual rotation handle. Part # 5RD657390. It seems you can't buy them online anymore, you have to go through your dealer. Just another thing that Deere has screwed up. :mad:

Yeah those seats are pricey but worth it. My biggest gripe about my tractor was the seat. I could hardly get out of bed the next day after mowing. You would think for the price, they would put more thought into it.

My lawn stays wet a long time after winter. It took to long to get out and mow in the spring with the big tractor. The Kubota was a hard ride and it hurt my back, but if you notice in some pics the grammer replacement seat. It was a back saver. That seat is fantastic.

It pretty much is. You need them when you are pushing back the snow banks. Those wheel weights came in handy as well. They are off my Dad's old JD 140 and then transferred to the JD 316, and now on the Kubota. A little Kubota orange from tractor supply matched up very nicely. Those weights...
