The inner filter is basically a safety filter in case something gets past the outer primary one. The NX comes with the primary filter only and no inner safety filter. The inner filter pushes into the plastic housing first then the primary goes over the inner filter and seals into the housing.

The plug he has is also a filter vent plug, I have several of those type on cylinders and gear boxes.the hole is in the side of the plug so you can turn it down away from moisture.

This is what the sidewinders I’ve had uses. If you have a extra 3/4” of thickness to go through do you have full thread engagement in the nuts? Are you sure they are tight enough ?

Remove the adapter, and lower the hook in the adjusting holes so it hooks to the bolt, you may need to remove the bolt and add a bushing to fit the hook opening. In the first pic you can see a bushing mounted over the bolt.

Are your wheels still set like they are in this photo, if so you still have some adjustment left? Leave the centers as they are but switch the outer rims from side to side. The mounting ears on the rims are also offset and by switching them you will gain some more width.

A rake works ok , for stuff larger than 1-1/2” diameter, you can remove every other tine which helps a bit and go slow. You will disturb the ground and pull out grass so if that’s a issue then I’d stay away from a rake. It’s not going to get the small stuff you’ll still be faster just picking...

I just did this very same thing a couple weeks ago. Hauled 2 loads first was 5 tons and the second was 6, quarry is about 6 miles away. To unload I just drive the tractor up on the trailer and get a bucket load, works great if your just doing a small project once in a while every few years.

I just bought a everything attachments 8 ft rake and love it, the tine bar is by far the best design for a rake, I wouldn’t go with anything smaller.

A better hose clamp would help also, I use these made for higher pressures such as automotive fuel injections. May check at Napa or O reillys or such and see if they have one in the size you need.

If you have a hydraulic auger you could always use it with a drum mixer. Think I’m going to try one next time I start a small project. Much easier to handle than a wheel barrow.

You can buy or make ones with a lanyard on them, also some lift arms have a little loop on them you can use to put the pins in when not using them or store a extra set in.

Yes, I used a top link to support my tongue , so i could adjust the angle, but I would use a hydraulic cylinder for doing what you are. The ball hitch should work out good, I use different stuff on my draw bar so I just built a swivel clevis. You’ve done a very nice job on your build.

Another option would be replace the cat 2 Clevis pin with a single pin on the inside hole pointing inward, I’ve had to do this n a few implements one being a 1250 lbs rotary cutter with no issues.

Replace the cat 2 pin with a cat 1 so it fits inside the cat 1 arm, then cat 1 to cat 2 bushings where the pin goes through the implement. Would require two bushings on each pin, or use a dual category pin with one bushing on each side.

I ordered a severe extreme with offset two weeks ago, hoping it ships in another week or so, but looking forward to getting it. I haven’t seen one in person but from what I have seen of one it should be far superior to the ones I’ve looked at locally.

Is this a true 3rd function or a diverter ? If it’s a diverter then you will need to cycle the joystick with the engine off and holding the button. If it’s a 3rd function then with the engine off and cycling the solenoid valve will relieve the pressure as said above.

When hooking and unhooking implements a lot of times I need to shorten or lengthen the top link in order to pin it. So instead of walking around to open the door and reach in and then walk back around, I came up with a quick little handle on the valve.
