Modine is all I have ever used... Have had multiple NG unit in our work warehouse, a Propane unit we installed in my brothers home shop, & I'm currently running (2) of there hydronic unit at our home. All of them have been flawless.

Yes, they are nice & have held up for 8+ yrs... Those were from Garners, but they were way cheaper when we purchased them (kind of pricey now)... Not sure I would pay the current price for them.

So instead of T-posts I've made a few using fairly inexpensive EMT conduit & fittings. I have made them to be used with both the sting trellis & with wire grates. They work out nice & you can adjust the angle of the trellis base on what you are growing... at the end of the season you can leave...

Have you checked your battery cables? If not, I would definitely test your positive & negative cables... They are known to look fine but to be corroded internally. This is a fairly common problem on the NH TC tractors.... From one of my previous posts: Cable Test: Older New Holland battery...

I don't believe it will... I had our TC40D apart & replaced the fuel tank grommet & installed the fuel barb back in by twisting it back in... no leaks at all...

It is just a barbed fitting pushed into a grommet, so it will rotate, however I don't remember how much room there is to rotate it.

As others have mentioned a good fad / metal / welding shop might be able to straighten & reinforce them... You could also try the used market, there are quite a few... for instance, Long Lane Tractors has a lot of NH parts machines... but may depend on where you are located.

Insulate it... Our insulation contractor insulates behind the panels on all our projects... Inspectors would call us out on it if it didn't have any, even though it won't meet code for required R-value, they want to see it there.

Make sure the tension is of the pins when greasing... If you have a second person, have them move the pin joints via the FEL controls very slowly while you grease the fittings. Worse case you may have disassemble the pins & clean them up really good & then reassemble...

We have a SnowEX spreader (older version than in the link) & it works great. Ours is setup for both a 2" hitch receiver & 3-point connection; I've used it both ways. The controller is nice as it allows for independent control of flow (amount of material dropping) & the spinner / spreader speed...

Well, I can't say I bought it... but did get a fuel storage tank this week...

Does the filter bowl fill if you slightly loosen the filter bowl retaining ring? The TC series are gravity fed from the tank to the fuel filter bowl, so yo may have to loosen the filter bowl slightly to let the air be pushed out by the fuel from the tank... There are other issues to look for...

The seat switch and the parking brake switch will not stop the engine from turning over, however they will cause the fuel solenoid to shut off... Make sure you check both of those... If I'm not mistaken there are only 2 type of relays used in the TC's... Meaning you could temporarily swap...

@ircole - I'm guessing air in the system is your issue... If the steering system was opened (ie broken tube) & after you repaired it & filled the reservoir, it will most likely need to be bleed. If the pump is working correctly & it is the same procedure as the others in the TC Series...

@TractorDale - Have you checked the wire coming from the alternator? Check it for continuity. If it is the same as most of the TC Series it's a single wire connector that runs from the back of the alternator all the way up to the instrument panel. I'd check that wire & it's connections first.

Yes that is the HI/LO Solenoid Valve... should be 2 wires coming off the round Solenoid that have bullet connectors on them connecting them to the harness... The square part is the valve block & has the hydraulic piping going to it.

You can just check to see if you have 12 volt on the 2 bullet connectors when you switch it to the HI position... If you do not have 12 volts in the HI position I would then check the fuse (I think it is a 7.5 amp) if the fuse is good I would test the relay next.

@dieselscout80 - Being the tractor is stuck in LO, I would 1st check the connections at the HI/LO Solenoid Valve... That valve will stay in LO unless energized & being you where out cutting in tall grass I'd check those connections first... The HI/LO Solenoid Valve is located on the Left...

Did it a few years ago on our TC40D... Wife uses it for that exact purpose... charging her phone. Used a marine grade outlet, figured if it could withstand a marine environment it would be fine on the tractor. It has held up very well... I do have it setup so it is powered anytime the tractor...

God to know you got it running... Just keep an eye on both the positive & negative cables, the NH TC's cables are known to have internal corrosion issues & cause all sorts of issues.

First - After you rebuilt the cylinders & reinstalled them, did you cycle them all full multiple times (10 - 20 times not uncommon) to make sure you got all the air out of the system? That would be the first thing I would check... they will self-bleed but it sometime takes many full cycles...

I would just empty the tank as all the others have mentioned, into a clean container & then run some clean diesel though as well (still collecting it). After that I would run it through a "Mr Funnel", treat it & reuse all of it... I've done this on much larger equipment without any issues...

Me too... However I did purchase a 3 Point Hitch to Skid Steer Quick Attach adapter & as @ovrszd said it really is nice having the flexibility of putting it on the 3-pt (has greater lift capacity too)... It's also nice to have the adapter for putting the forks on the 3-pt at times.

If you don't feel like making up your own adapters they are readily sold. We have a couple different versions that we use for our outside spigots & to clear the irrigation lines in th eraised gardens... Oh, & it does not take much pressure at all to clear the lines... I like having the ball...
